Just a small intro to this

APART FROM the usual benefits of Coconuts. It's a brilliant way to make awesome crafts for our homes . Im glad im writing this post ,especially because I had an amzing time making a handmade decorative craft using simple waste materials from trees .

Discarded part of Coconut tree ,specifically  the Inflorescence bunch along with the spathe . Thennai mattai in Tamil . I want to make a video with full my native language  . Im working on it now . 

Decor diy with coconut palm tree branch is long lasting ,easy to maintain ,easyou to clean and looks gorgeous in a large spacious room. Not only for large space we can trim the branches and make a medium or smaller version for tiny space also . 

Beautiful Coconut cap wall hanging is something I made a while ago ,still working on more of these amazing diy projects from home decoration . During this Lockdown period I wanted to share as many craft idea as possible ,to take your mind of stress . Home crafts will decorate home as well as renew the look of the Iiving housee space . Trash to treasure crafts idea

Usually we just discarded these Coconut palm sheaths ,the spathe and inflorescence pietiole.  But little did I know how awesome it is to make a lasting handcraft just with little expense . Now I make my own home decor crafts . It's refreshing taking my time off certain uncertain things in life ,makes me feel lively and keeps my mind to expand my creative thinking process. Ideas with Coconut palm crafts is infinite.

I made this craft using Paper and old acrylic paint bottles 

Well cleaned bottles ,mini diy Roses and some other cute paper plants on cardboard 

I'm not sure what scale is miniature. .but I can say this is pretty cute

Making use of the materials we throw everyday like these empty bottles feels good .

Tiny paper Roses that is diy crepe or duplex paper flowers, diy Wall hanging cardboard display, then a few number of tiny bottles . Well washed and dried . All done gathering materials 😊

After hanging this decor piece on wall ,it looked just great . Simple and very beautiful indeed ..I'm writing this blog just to put my happiness in words .

Coconut palm sheath are widely seen in tropical regions of the world ,these discarded tree parts can be used to make amazing diys.
DIY nature inspired branches and twigs can be made  into handmade Crafts with little bit effort . Dry tree branches which I mainly collect near my home saves me a ton of money for a fancy wall art piece.
Old dry coconut sheath usually falls of from trees or fall when Coconuts or palms are harvested .

Everlasting cheap materials for craft work is rare to find in stores . But these are so smooth to try some art work .

YELLOW BLOOM -PAPER FLOWERS

Yellow was never my favourite colour before I made these beautiful paper flowers ..They were absolutely gorgeous I mounted them on a wooden piece that my dad carved out of an old but strong wood .. it was a perfect combo!

Now I have to tell you all that I started making videos on these flowers ,love it if you all checked it out ..It's so easy to make them ,if you have little time to spare then make them in small bunches untill you have enough to beautify your rooms . Let's see the process of this fun flower craft ,handmade stuffs are best .
How to make these beautiful yellow flowers in full bloom ,hmm in case you are wondering ,here's how ...

Materials required

Crepe paper -3 colours
(Green ,yellow lemon,chrome yellow )
Scissors ✂
Glue (fevicol)
Floral tape
Flexible stem wires
A vase or Base or any holders to mount or display flowers

Step by step method 

1) Make all the materials listed above ready on crafting table or your craft space

2) Cut out petals ,sepals ,pollen and leaves as shown in picture below . Make different sizes of petals

3)  cut 10 to 15 cm long stems (flexible wire for stem ) Make teeny tiny hoop in the end of the stem wire .Wind pollens on the stem wire as shown below

4)stick 5 to 6 petals on the pollen ,refer pic below

5)Stick sepals (wrap sepals) around the petals clad pollen  

flowers . Tighten with floral tape .

6) Done . Make as many flowers like this as possible .

7)Cut out long and thin leaves like this . 6 - 9cm long . Crush these leaves and then stretch them out and stick to the stems of flowers .

8)wind all flowers and leaves stem together. For a single bunch wind 20 to 25 flowers on a strong much harder middle stem

9) Add more green leaves ,crushed and stretched out leaves make beautiful natural looking bush . So add more and more green leaves ,yellow flowers will pop out and look vibrant

10)Beautifully arrange them in any flower holders , use as wall hangings if you like ,they will adapt to any display methods , use these pretty flowers as gifts ,your choice .

Beautiful Paper Mangolia flowers

Paper flower crafts  -Handmade crepe paper Magnolia -Diy

Magnolia flowers are one of the world's most beautiful flowers found in universe and lately I have developed some sort of obsession over these blossoms. If only I could grow these trees in my garden ,ooohh that would be lovely ,but our climate wouldn't favour that and so closer to that, is my crafty projects ,very glad I have them. Really soothes me and real fun hobby . So simple to make these .let's take a look at the basic materials needed to make these flowers.

Materials required

Crepe paper -3 colors
Scissors
Glue (fevicol)
Glue gun
Pink crayons
Cotton
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Natural branch

Steps by step procedure

1)Prepare all the required materials listed above .

2 )Shade the lighter side of the crepe paper with pink crayon

3)Cut out many petals , few leaves is sufficient , orange or yellow pollen

4)Take a small ball of cotton and wrap ,mould it and stick with piece of orange paper as shown below

5)Stick the cut out pollen on the Orange ball as shown below

6)Now stick the leaves over this pollen ball ,stick about 5-7 petals (you can also shade half the petals on the outside ). Stick short sepals on the long  petals .

Make many flowers as possible or about 10 is enough

7)paint the natural long branch with black acrylic paint . Completely black or dark brown is fine as shown below

8) Stick the flowers on the branch with Glue gun . Stick few leaves here and there .. add more flowers or add a branch for more natural look .

Rose plants using crepe Paper 

I thought this was a perfect day to make a Beautiful Rose bush  from paper , set it up in 2 cute little plastic pots . It looked soo cute . When I finally finished this Rose bush paper project I felt happy and wanted to display it on my dinning  table .

But fortunately one of my neighbour asked for it . I had to give her . Really miss those .. but next time I'm going to make them look even better . Take a look at these wonderful projects. Aren't they beautiful and life like . I think so too . The next time I make these I'm going to make a video of the process and post for all of you to try . It's very easy and looked gorgeous . It's great way to use our time wisely ,makes our homes look a lot better  . I clicked some pictures outdoors under the sunlight,and these handmade crepe paper Rose bushes looked fresh and lively ,looking at the finished project lifted my spirit up and brought a glow to my soul .

This time I wowed myself  because I didn't expect that it would turn out this way . Encasing these in transparent glass cases and displaying them would be good . That way dust won't get it and makes a great gift to loved ones . In today's world best, smart and meaningful gifts are handmade . Something that requires a bit of sacrifice and effort . It is a great boon if we have patience and passion for crafts. I'm learning to write in a more efficient way to express my excitement on each and every craft that I make also learning to utilize the materials available around me to make amazing projects . This is a piece for interior decoration that easily catches the eye ! Crafting had never seemed so much fun . It will be spectacular to make a large centerpiece using the same method . My Dad assisted me in cutting out the petals ,leaves and strings  , He is the reason behind me for completing these two beautiful handmade Rose bushes in about 3 days.  I learned that using twigs and branches from nature has its perks ,that is no two pieces looks the same ,so it's definitely a designer  Rose bush !!
My neighbour a very sweet woman gave me these 2 little plastic pots and asked me to make few flowers to completely this vase . I thought about it and suddenly another lazy day turned into this beautiful energy filled interesting work day .

At first I made tiny Roses in five different colours and asked my Dad for insight as to which color looked best for black pots . He pointed out orange and pink ..and I went with it . Honestly when I was done with these I didn't feel like giving it away . it was very cute ...looked darn pretty . I put them everywhere possible that  I thought looked quite real and clicked pictures .
She was very happy when she got her vase back with pretty handmade Paper Rose bushes . She couldn't believe it was made out of paper ! That's how much we can make out of crepe paper . I wish I had an entire room full of high quality crepe papers and handmade papers someday .. lot of fresh ideas crept in my mind , got inspired from nature itself. I have to say as I started making progress in my crafts I'm making progress in reading Bible as well ,it is my wish to completely read the entire Bible by the end of this year . I have put off the most important thing in my life for so long ...Gotta catch up . I'm happy that you are all with me on this beautiful crafting journey , I'm slowly but steadily mustering up all the courage  wits and materials to start an instruction video channel.

 I have separately made these Roses and wind them in a way it seemed fit and they looked lovely . You can make these yourself too . I'll soon post a step by step instruction to make this beautiful Roses .
